BETA - Business and Enterprise Teachers' Association of South Australia Inc

BETA is the voluntary professional association of Business and Enterprise Teachers in South Australia

BETA aims to:

promote and extend business education in South Australia
provide means for the exchange of ideas on the teaching of business education subjects
act as a body representative of the teachers of business education subjects wherever the educational interests of those subjects is involved
publish and make available materials of interest and value to teachers of business education subjects.
maintain liaison with professional associations of teachers of business education elsewhere, plus other professional and academic bodies
undertake any other activities aimed at promoting and supporting business education

The association is a body incorporated (under the South Australian Associations Incorporations Act. It is managed by a board of management, a president plus eleven other members, elected at annual general meeting. A vice-president, treasurer and website manager are also elected.

A paid administrative assistant takes up the combined role of secretary and membership officer

We encourage teachers of business education subjects to join us at BETA, or to take out school or organisational membership in BETA.
